We launched trading in Minnesota, South Carolina and Puerto Rico

We’re excited to announce that we have been awarded a money transmitter licensing (MTL) in the states of Minnesota and South Carolina and the US territory of Puerto Rico.

In an effort to continue our high-growth expansion, residents of Minnesota, South Carolina and Puerto Rico will now be able to:

• Trade all available US cryptocurrencies (including Bitcoin, Ethereum, AAVE, Polygon and Uniswap).
• Deposit and withdraw USD using ACH or wire transfers.
• Purchase cryptocurrencies directly using their credit and debit cards.
• Deposit and withdraw all available US cryptocurrencies.

This move is part of Bitstamp’s plans to expand its services in the United States while staying in line with the Federal, state and local laws and regulatory guidelines.
