UPDATE 31 July 2019: All fee changes will go into effect on 20 August 2019 at 9:00 AM UTC and not 1 August 2019 as originally planned.

---

As the oldest continuously operating crypto exchange in the world, we’ve kept our fees practically unchanged since we opened our doors in 2011. However, both the market and the way we operate evolved significantly since then, which is why we’re introducing some changes to how our fees are structured. This will help us build a sustainable environment where we can guarantee the safe and reliable service we’re known for. The updated fees will go into effect on 20 August 2019.

Unified Fee Schedule

We’re adding additional fee tiers that will allow our high-volume customers to operate with lower or zero fees. The new fee schedule will look like this:

  • < $10K: 0.5%
  • < $20K: 0.25%
  • < $100K: 0.24%
  • < $200K: 0.22%
  • < $400K: 0.20%
  • < $600K: 0.15%
  • < $1M: 0.14%
  • < $2M: 0.13%
  • < $4M: 0.12%
  • < $20M 0.11%
  • < $50M: 0.1%
  • < $100M: 0.07%
  • < $500M: 0.05%
  • < $2B: 0.03%
  • < $6B: 0.01%
  • < $10B: 0.005%
  • > $10B: 0%

The fee schedule will remain based on your total trading volume over the past 30 days.

Withdrawal Fees

Additionally, we’re introducing changes to withdrawal fees for both fiat and crypto.

Currently, we are one of the rare exchanges that offer free crypto withdrawals. We were happy to provide this service as a way to foster crypto adoption for many years, but due to growing demand for crypto transfers from customers, it was no longer viable.

1. Crypto withdrawals

The new crypto withdrawal fees will be as follows:

  • Bitcoin: 0.0005 BTC
  • Ethereum: 0.001 ETH
  • XRP: 0.02 XRP
  • Bitcoin Cash: 0.0001 BCH
  • Litecoin: 0.001 LTC

2. Fiat Withdrawals

For bank withdrawals the following fees will apply:

SEPA payments (Europe) – 3 EUR flat fee

International wire transfer – 0.1%, 25 USD/EUR minimum fee

Minimum Order Size

Lastly, we are also changing the minimum order size to 25 EUR/USD or 0.001 BTC (for BTC denominated trading pairs).

The changes we are introducing will allow us to keep providing a trading venue that meets the demands of the quickly evolving crypto markets. We’re grateful for your support and will continue offering the most secure and reliable trading services possible.
