NEW WEBSOCKET
Dear customers,
We just introduced a new WebSocket solution, which will replace our existing WebSocket streaming service.
Our new in-house solution reduces latency by 250-270 milliseconds and significantly increases the speed of pushing order_book messages.
The new WebSocket has been in open beta testing for a month and is now available to all Bitstamp customers.
We recommend that all customers switch to the new WebSocket solution as the old one will no longer be supported after a two-month crossover period. We will let you know before we discontinue support for the existing streaming service.
