Mary Beth Buchanan and Mike Lempres join Bitstamp as CLO and US Board Member
We’re pleased to announce the hiring of Mary Beth Buchanan as Bitstamp’s new Chief Legal Officer and the appointment of Mike Lempres to Bitstamp USA, Inc’s Board of Directors.
Mary Beth has come over from Kraken, where she acted as General Counsel after holding senior roles in the public and the private sector throughout her career. Before entering the crypto industry, Mary Beth served as US Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania and was a partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner. In her new role at Bitstamp, she will continue our efforts to build the most trusted, transparent and secure trading venue.
Mike Lempres is an active member of the Board of Directors for Silvergate Bank and Coinbase Custody Trust Company, and is the executive in residence at Andressen Horowitz. Mike has previously held positions at Bitnet and SVB financial group. He has joined our US Board of Directors to help scale Bitstamp within the rapidly changing US digital asset environment.
