Having received several requests from our customers for the FIX API, we are excited to announce the launch of this feature today. This represents a step forward in our efforts to bring bitcoin closer to institutional traders.
About the FIX API
Bitstamp's new FIX API is designed to support customers who use the Financial Information eXchange (FIX) protocol for order management on their trading software.
It’s easy to get set up. All you need to do is open a support ticket or send an email to support@bitstamp.net, and our support staff will then guide you through the process.

REST and Websocket APIs
We also want to hear your views on our REST and Websocket APIs. Although both already provide full functionality, please reach out to us at support@bitstamp.net if you have any suggested improvements!
